Sacred icons for the villas of Lake Como
On Lake Como sacred art has been at home for almost a thousand years: from the Magistri Comacini, builders of Romanesque churches across Europe, to the Sacred Mount of Ossuccio, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Today its villas welcome residents and guests from all over the world, and many keep a chapel or a prayer corner.
For villas and private chapels
A hand-painted icon is the right presence for the chapel of a historic villa, an entrance overlooking the lake or the study of a contemporary residence. The gold ground responds to the light changing on the water through the day; size and frame are studied with the owner, architect or interior designer.
For those living between Italy and Switzerland, a few kilometres from Canton Ticino, the icon can be delivered in Italy or shipped across the border.
The first conversation can take place online or in person. We ship worldwide: the icon is delivered with protective packaging and, on request, insured shipping, together with its certificate of authenticity on real parchment with photographs of every stage and its explanatory booklet in Italian or English. Shipping conditions are checked case by case at the time of commission.

Lakeside weddings
Lake Como is also an international wedding destination. A wedding icon, such as the Holy Family or a diptych of Christ and the Mother of God, is a gift the couple will take with them wherever they live.
Gift ideas on Lake Como: Cernobbio, Bellagio, Varenna and nearby
The villas of Cernobbio, Tremezzina and Bellagio host some of Italy's most elegant weddings: a hand-painted icon is a gift equal to the setting. Como is also Italy's silk capital, with a long tradition of family firms: for the inauguration of headquarters, a showroom or a lakeside hotel, an icon is a corporate gift that speaks of roots and endurance.
