Sacred icons hand-painted in Italy for Greece and Cyprus
Greece and Cyprus are the heart of Orthodox devotion, and the iconographic tradition is alive in every church. This is precisely why those who live there can recognise a fine-art work: an icon painted in Italy in the Byzantine canon, with Greek inscriptions, is a bridge between the two shores of the Mediterranean.

The land of the icon
- The Byzantine and Christian Museum in Athens and the Museum of Byzantine Culture in Thessaloniki, among the largest icon collections in the world.
- Mount Athos, the monastic republic where the icon is part of every day of prayer.
- In Cyprus, the painted churches of the Troodos region, a UNESCO World Heritage site, and the Byzantine Museum of the Archbishop Makarios III Foundation in Nicosia.
For Greek and Cypriot families and collectors
The name saint for a name day, the Panagia for a home, the wedding icon for a marriage: every work is painted entirely by hand, with Greek inscriptions, fully gilded with 23¾ karat gold, by an iconographer of the traditional school.

Saint Hilarion the Great
Greek inscription Ο ΑΓΙΟΣ ΙΛΑΡΙΩΝ Ο ΜΕΓΑΣ.

Saint Michael the Archangel
Greek inscription, golden halo.
Commissioning and shipping
Consultations take place online, in English or Italian. During the work you receive photographs of every stage; the icon arrives with protective packaging and, on request, insured shipping, together with its certificate of authenticity on real parchment and its explanatory booklet. Shipping conditions and any customs formalities are checked case by case at the time of commission.
