Icons hand-painted in Italy for the United States

Icons are painted according to the Byzantine canon, with inscriptions in Greek or Latin, and with the subjects dear to each tradition: the patron saint for a name day, the family icon for the Serbian Slava, wedding icons, the Pantocrator and the Mother of God for the prayer corner.

Many Catholic families who love the traditional liturgy seek serious, faithful and lasting sacred art, far from reproductions. For them icons can be painted with Latin inscriptions and subjects beloved in Western devotion: Our Mother of Perpetual Help, a Cretan-school icon venerated in Rome in the church of Sant'Alfonso; the Salus Populi Romani; the Holy Family; the patron saints.

During the work you receive photographs of every stage; the icon arrives with its certificate of authenticity on real parchment and an explanatory booklet in English. Shipments to the United States require customs documentation and, because international rules and conditions change often, arrangements, timing, costs and any import charges are checked at the time of commission.
